About Jarrad Houghton / J-RAD
Wherever you see Cunningstunts, you
don't have to look far to see Jarrad lurking in the background
helping make Cunningstunts a success. Whether is be changing tyres,
holding a camera or driving someone to hospital, Jarrad is always
nearby willing to lend a hand.
Jarrad started stunting in 2000 when he, Disco Stu and Bender created
Cunningstunts. A small group from Canberra renowned for their long
wheelies, stoppies and burnouts. Jarrad has helped grow
Cunningstunts into the household name it is today.
Although Jarrad is not currently performing as a stunt rider, he is
now indulging in his passion of racing road bikes putting down
impressive lap times at Eastern Creek and Phillip Island on his
200BHP GSXR1000.
Jarrad's life membership of Cunningstunts means he will always be
actively involved with the team in one way or another.
Cunningstunts thanks Jarrad for all his support and dedication over
the years and looks forward to working together for many more years
to come. |

Hi Everyone out
there in reader land…..!
For those OLD
enough to remember me, I am one of the original FOOLS who helped
create Cunningstunts along with Disco Stu and Bender.
For me, finally – a new trusty stead for my shed…..only this
time instead of having 130BHP and all of those horses being the
size of a Shetland pony like my 2001 750 – I am now the proud
owner of a K5/6 GSXR1000. There were 3 bikes I was looking at –
all had between 170HP-200HP and loads of spares. I basically
picked the best one and went from there.
Only this bike will not be a stunt bike (much)!
I am now in the position to have a
crack at racing and this is what I intend to do on this bike for
the 2008 season. I will still be supporting Cunningstunts and
it's riders as I am a 'life' member and will always be there to
ensure we succeed - even if not in a riding capacity for the
short term. Bender and all the guys are great mates (even if
they all ride Honda's ;o) so anything I can do to help this
project succeed the better and if I can find me one of these
cheap F4i's that everyone is 'cheating' on then I look forward to
joining them at the Stunt Strip again even if it's only to pick Sammo's riding to bits ;o)
So I won’t be seeing many of you on our public roads though if
you’re thinking of going to a track day then drop me a line or
if you see us at the track feel free to come on over – I might
even have a spare Cunningstunts Hoody or Shirt to give you! if
you're real lucky...........
Cheers
J-rad. |
